Software Capabilities
Spectrum has a variety of software for your design and engineering needs:
Our preference is for files that are in .dwg or .dxf format but we can work with most any type of file including .pdf, .dwg, .dxf and .jpg to create your item. Please be sure that all drawings include desired tolerances and measurements.
Kanban
We understand that many of our customers use just-in-time (JIT) to control costs and we can help. Vortex Fab will work with you and your Kanban methods to ensure your replacement parts are ready to ship when you need them. Together, we can determine the desirable inventory to keep your plant running efficiently. Contact your Sales person or our Customer Service staff to discuss your delivery needs.
Bar Coding
Inventory management is an additional service that our metal fabrication shop can help you with. Spectrum can provide you with parts that have bar codes to help you manage your inventory efficiently. Contact our customer service department. We will work with your company to provide bar codes for your parts.
